SAN DIEGO — The annual Spring Forward Catechetical Conference will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 31, at the diocesan Pastoral Center.

The theme will be “Families on Fire for Christ.”

Presenter Katie Riley will lead a vibrant and joy-filled session on Family Catechesis that will inspire new ways to bring faith to life for families.

Through stories, music and hands-on experiences, participants will explore creative approaches to family assemblies, building lasting faith memories, and nurturing a sense of belonging in community. They also will discover how to engage all the senses in prayer and learning, helping families not just know the faith — but live it with joy.

The cost to attend is $25 per person. Registration closes the day prior to the event, but walk-ins are welcome.
