St. Therese Academy hosts teacher job fair

DEL CERRO — More than 100 prospective Catholic school teachers attended a teacher job fair, hosted by Principal Mark Sperrazzo of St. Therese Academy and held May 11 in St. Therese Parish’s social center.

The job fair provided those interested in teaching in the local Catholic school system with the opportunity to distribute their resumes directly to administrators of more than 20 local Catholic schools. The administrators answered questions about the schools and discussed the preschool through eighth grade positions available for the 2019-2020 school year.

Each school proudly displayed pictures of campus activities that showcase their school’s vision, mission and culture. Point Loma Nazarene University, San Diego State University and Alliant International University also took part in the job fair, sharing their own educational programs.
