SAN DIEGO — Confirmation season continues as Bishop Michael Pham and Auxiliary Bishops Ramón Bejarano and Felipe Pulido crisscross San Diego and Imperial counties to confer the sacrament.

They will have confirmed nearly 4,000 Catholics, mostly teenagers, when Bishop Pham presides over the final Mass on June 21 at St. Catherine Labouré Parish.

On May 20, Bishop Bejarano confirmed 128 young people at Mission San Luis Rey Parish, supported by their sponsors. He anointed the forehead of each candidate with sacred chrism and, in conjunction with the laying on of hands, said, “Be sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
