SANTEE — Members of Guardian Angels Parish in Santee greeted Bishop Michael Pham with a welcome sign on Aug. 9, when he visited the parish for the first time. The bishop celebrated the 10 a.m. Mass with the parish’s pastor, Father Andre Ramos, and Msgr. John Cusack as concelebrants. The parish’s Faith Formation Youth & Children Choir, under the leadership of Althea Valdez, sang “Christ in Me Arise” in honor of Bishop Pham.
