Pueri Cantores, the national student choral organization of the Catholic Church, hosted a festival and Mass for singers in the fourth through eighth grades. It was held on March 23 at San Francisco Solano Church in Rancho Santa Margarita, California. Led by conductor Melanie Malinka, six students from The Nativity School in Rancho Santa Fe joined with hundreds of Catholic choir students, forming one combined choir to sing a liturgical music repertoire spanning 1,500 years — from Gregorian chant to music of the 21st century.
